Scheidt upholstery was founded in 1969 by Harry Scheidt. In 1977, his wife, Susan Scheidt joined the team, making Scheidt Upholstery one of Lincoln's most well known "mom & pop shops". After branching into industrial safety padding in the '90s, Ruben Manufacturing was formed. In 2014, Harry & Sue retired from the upholstery business. Today, their daughter and son-in-law, James and Tina Thompson, have taken over the family business. After apprenticing for almost 7 years, you can be sure the quality you've received in the past from Harry & Sue is still available today from James & Tina. Please allow our 2nd generation "mom & pop shop" to assist you with all of your upholstery and furniture building needs.
